Why I Run
I joined the American Cancer Society's DetermiNation, following the death of my mom. I watched my mom be stripped of her independence, as cancer stole away her ability to walk. I knew that running was my way to stick it to cancer. Each step that I take, mile I run, race I complete is a symbol of hope that I am stronger than cancer, and a tribute to my mom and her courage.
Together, through your monetary support and my miles of running, we CAN and ARE making a difference in the fight against cancer!
