Today, I am supposed to be starting the 21-Day Fix. Considering my current hamstring situation, I won't be starting the program until next week (hopefully). Doesn't seem like much of a dilemma except for the fact that I really want to get moving and do the workouts. I simply can't.

Here is my real dilemma. I chose the 21-Day Fix as my next Beachbody program because I've seen so many success stories of people who have done the program. With a strong desire to live a more nutritionally healthy lifestyle, I decided this was the next step in my fitness journey. So I started to meal plan... that's when my brain began to smoke. Plotting out meal plans for a 7 day week has helped me to reflect on my past meal planning. As I think about what I typically eat for lunch and prepare for my family for supper, I realize that I'm already a pretty healthy eater and preparer. I don't overindulge on any one particular type of food. I try to provide my family with a balanced meal of proteins and vegetables. I avoid the center aisles of the grocery store so as to not be tempted by premade meals loaded with salt, sugar, and artifical grossness.

All of these things that I already do are part of the 21-Day Fix. Do I really need color coded containers and meal charts to affirm what I already do? Maybe I don't need the containers. I'll use them because I like to follow Beachbody programs as closely as prescribed. Maybe I don't need the meal charts. I'll use them because they will help me ensure that I am getting a balanced diet for myself and my family.
